mōcean®, the taurine-free functional energy drink made with organic green tea caffeine and botanicals, today announced it has become the official energy drink and an anchor sponsor of Sweater Weather Fest, a free, all-ages film and music festival taking place Saturday, October 17, from 2 to 11 p.m. on Boston City Hall Plaza.
Sweater Weather Fest is produced by Sweater Weather Films with support from the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture and a $50,000 City Hall Plaza Engagement Grant from the City of Boston.
“Supporting the arts is one of mōcean’s founding commitments, and we’re proud to bring that commitment to life through our sponsorship of Sweater Weather Fest,” said Tony Vieira, co-founder and CEO of mōcean drinkwerx. “We’ll be offering free samples of every mōcean flavor from our festival tent and launching a dedicated landing page where festivalgoers can post photos and videos using #moceanpictures.”
The festival is designed to open doors for Boston’s creative community. The plaza will host:
Five industry panels with established filmmakers and production professionals
Industry access tables with studios, unions, production companies and state film commissions
Youth filmmaking presented by Filmmakers Collaborative, including a stop-motion station
A vertical short film contest, with the top five screened on the plaza
A free feature film screening at sunset
Sweater Weather Fest is free and open to the public. Attendees can RSVP at sweaterweatherfest.com.
